Hall’s PU Boat Foam – Two-Part Rigid Polyurethane Foam System
Hall’s PU Boat Foam is a two-component rigid polyurethane system designed for buoyancy, insulation, and structural reinforcement. Supplied as Part A (Foam Liquid) and Part B (Resin Catalyst), it produces a durable, self-extinguishing foam with a high closed-cell structure and excellent dimensional stability. This makes it ideal for marine applications, cavity filling, insulation panels, and other general-purpose uses where strength and reliability are essential.
Key Features & Benefits:
Usage Instructions:
- Ensure both components are stored and mixed at approximately 20°C.
- For hand mixing: blend 1 parts Foam Liquid (Part A) with 1 parts Resin Catalyst (Part B) at around 1000 RPM.
- Mix until uniform, then pour into the mould or cavity.
- Cream time: 32–36 seconds | Gel time: 125–140 seconds | Rise time: 240–260 seconds.
- Allow to fully cure before exposing to water or load-bearing conditions (tack-free in ±220–250 seconds).
- 2kg kit yields 20L, 10kg kit yields 100L
