Bitu-Bond is a single-component, solvent-borne bitumen adhesive formulated for high-strength bonding and long-lasting performance. Designed for professional use in flooring and waterproofing applications, it offers excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates, making it ideal for securing semi-flexible vinyl floor tiles, thermoplastic coverings, and even wooden floors to cement screeds.

With its viscous, semi-flexible consistency, Bitu-Bond delivers a strong, water-resistant bond that withstands moisture, chemicals, and temperature fluctuations. Its high solids content ensures superior coverage and durability, while its ready-to-use formula simplifies application.

Application Instructions:

1. Surface Prep: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and loose materials.

2. Priming: For very dry or porous surfaces, apply a solvent-based bitumen primer (Sealkote 4018).

3. Application: Apply directly from the container using a triangular notch trowel.

4. Curing: Initial skin forms in 24–48 hours; full cure time depends on humidity.

5. Tool Cleaning: Use thinners immediately after use.

• Use in well-ventilated areas and wear protective gloves and clothing.

• Avoid inhalation of vapours.

• Dispose of waste responsibly in compliance with local regulations.
