Deco Pink Wood Primer

Deco Pink Wood Primer us an oil-based primer specifically formulated for both interior and exterior raw wooden surfaces. This premium-quality primer nourishes and protects timber, providing an excellent foundation for subsequent coatings.

Application Guidelines:

1. Surface Preparation:

   • New Wood: Treat knots with a knot sealer. Prime any metal components, such as nail heads, with RP4.
   • Previously Painted Wood: Ensure surfaces are sound. Remove any loose or flaking paint. Avoid applying over existing paint.

2. General Preparation: All surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from grease and oils. Pay special attention to painting the end grain to prevent moisture penetration.

3. Application: Ready to use. Apply one coat with a brush to ensure proper wetting and penetration into the wood. Clean tools with mineral turpentine after use.

4. Overcoating: After applying the Pink Wood Primer, overcoat with Universal Undercoat before applying the topcoat.

Technical Specifications:

• Drying Time: Touch dry in 4 hours; hard dry in 24 hours at 25°C.

• Overcoating Time: 16 hours.

• Finish: Matt.

• Spread Rate: 7–8 m² per liter, depending on substrate porosity.

• Color: Pink.
